**Teach The Teacher Tuesday**
Who doesn’t like a good TED talk?
Rita Pierson, a teacher with over 40 years experience once heard a colleague say “They don’t pay me to like the kids.” This sparked her thinking and called upon educators to believe in their students potential, connect with them on a more personal level and remember that “kids don’t learn from people they don’t like.” Being able to educate a child is a privilege, one that should be fostered and treasured.

Have you ever been inspired to be “The Champion”? Can you recall a time in your education where a teacher stood out as your “Champion?”
We are keen to hear your champion stories. Hopefully this talk inspires you as an educator going into a new year.
